Direct replacement for Streamlight Stinger models

This BatteryJack inc. replacement battery fits the Streamlight Stinger LED HL 77175, 201701 and SL-20XP lights. It is a 6V NiCd stick pack rated at 1600mAh and measures 8.45 inches long by .91 inches wide. The cell is designed to match the original Super Stinger and Ultra Stinger form factor.

NiCd chemistry limits runtime

Nickel-cadmium chemistry delivers 1600mAh at 6V but suffers from memory effect if repeatedly topped up without full discharge. The pack will self-discharge faster than modern lithium alternatives and must be recycled as hazardous waste when depleted. Runtime per charge is fixed by the 1600mAh capacity and the lamp draw of the host light.

Simple stick insertion but polarity

The battery slides into the Stinger body as a single 8.45-inch stick; no soldering or tools are required. Misalignment of the .91-inch diameter cells can prevent contact, and reversed polarity will damage the light. Users should verify the 77175 or 9926J model number on the original pack before installation.
