Compatible radios

This 7.5V 2200mAh Li-ion pack fits Yaesu VX-230, VX-231, VX-231L and VX-234 two-way radios. It replaces the original battery when runtime has fallen off or the pack no longer holds a charge. The cell chemistry matches the factory specification for direct drop-in use.

Upgrade timing

Swapping to this pack is worthwhile when the existing battery delivers noticeably shorter talk time or fails to complete a full shift. The 2200mAh capacity restores the radio to its intended operating window without requiring a higher-capacity alternative. Users who need more capacity than 2200mAh will not find it in this model.

Sustained performance

The housing survives six drops onto all six sides from six feet and continues to power the radio. Highest Grade cells maintain voltage under continuous transmit cycles better than aged OEM packs. An 18 month free replacement warranty covers defects that appear during extended daily use.
