Rugged Ni-MH pack for Motorola XTS / PR / MT radios

This 7.2 V 1525 mAh Ni-MH battery replaces the original Motorola NTN9858 and NTN9814 cells for XTS1500 XTS2500 PR1500 and MT1500 handsets. It ships with a belt clip so the radio stays secured on duty gear. The Tank branded pack is sold new and carries an 18 month warranty against defects.

Check radio model and original part number before

Verify that your unit is an XTS1500 XTS2500 PR1500 or MT1500 and that the factory battery is marked NTN9858 or NTN9814. The connector and latch geometry are specific to this series and will not fit other Motorola families. Confirm the 7.2 V nominal voltage matches the label on your current pack.

Drop-rated housing survives rough handling

The case is tested to survive six drops from six feet onto all six faces without cracking or losing power delivery. Ni-MH chemistry runs cooler than lithium alternatives under continuous transmit cycles. No active cooling is required and the pack adds minimal bulk to the radio profile.
