Questions about this item

Will the 5 W VHF output on the 136-174 MHz band work with my existing marine radios that use the same frequency range?

Yes, the 5 W output on the 136-174 MHz VHF band matches standard marine channels so it will communicate with other VHF sets using those frequencies.

How can I confirm the 128 channels are scanning correctly after I programme the radio?

Press the scan key and watch the display cycle through each of the 128 channels; you should hear activity stop on any busy frequency.

Does the box include the antenna, 1400 mAh Li-ion battery and charging station, or do I need to buy any of them separately?

The package ships with the antenna, 1400 mAh Li-ion battery and charging station already included; no extra purchase is required for those items.
