Clear ID Badge Strap Clips

Baumgartens 68010BX clear strap clips adapt pre-punched badge holders for security, ID, or proximity cards. The vinyl adapters accept a chain or clip for versatile attachment. A 200-count box supplies offices, schools, and events needing high-volume credential management.

Thermals Noise Power

As passive vinyl fasteners, the clips generate no heat, produce no noise, and draw no electrical power. They add negligible weight to a lanyard or reel and require no maintenance during daily wear.

RoHS-Compliant Vinyl Construction

The clear vinyl meets RoHS limits for lead, mercury, bromine, chromium, and cadmium, supporting environmentally responsible procurement. No assembly is required and the material contains no recycled content. Buyers needing coloured coding or metal hardware will not find those options here.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the Baumgartens 68010BX strap clip to my badge holder?

Snap the clip onto the pre-punched slot of the badge holder; the clear vinyl adapter then accepts a chain or separate clip. The step often missed is ensuring the strap fully seats in the holder before adding the chain.

Will the clear vinyl strap clips become brittle or discolour over time?

The vinyl is formulated to meet RoHS limits for lead, mercury, bromine, chromium and cadmium, which helps it resist yellowing and embrittlement under normal indoor use.

At what point does the clip's grip loosen during daily wear?

The 0.4" wide strap clip is designed for standard badge-holder slots; sustained tension from heavy lanyards or repeated snagging is the first factor that can reduce holding power.
