36-inch nylon lanyard with hook

This Baumgartens lanyard is a rugged cord accessory made from lightweight nylon and fitted with a metal hook. At 36 inches long it provides a comfortable reach for ID badges, keys or whistles. The black finish suits everyday professional or school use.

Suited to single-item carry, not heavy loads

The lanyard works well for anyone who needs quick access to one badge or key set. Users who must carry multiple heavy items or who require a breakaway safety release should look at a different design.

Questions about this item

Is the 36" length the right choice for wearing an ID badge at chest level?

Yes, the 36-inch nylon cord sits comfortably at chest height for most adults, keeping a badge or keys within easy reach without pulling on the neck.

How does the 68909 model's hook perform when attached to a badge reel or key ring daily?

The metal hook on the 68909 opens wide enough for standard badge reels and key rings, and the rugged nylon cord resists fraying through repeated clipping and unclipping.
