Expansion board for Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 with BCM2711 chip, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, USB, CSI, DSI, M.2 and microSD interfaces
The Bazarc CM4-IO-BASE-A is a purpose-built expansion board for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4. It provides a stable B-to-B connector interface and a 5V 3A power input to support the BCM2711 processor. The board breaks out HDMI-compatible video, Gigabit Ethernet, USB, CSI, DSI and fan headers for rapid prototyping.
This board suits developers who require direct access to every CM4 interface including PCIe and M.2 expansion in a compact form factor. It is not for users who only need a basic carrier with fewer ports or those building inside enclosures that cannot accommodate the full breakout layout.
The on-board BCM2711 chip delivers 64-bit performance with four Cortex-A72 cores for compute-intensive tasks. Gigabit Ethernet with IEEE1588 support enables precise network timing. An M.2 slot and PCIe interface allow flexible storage or accelerator additions.

The board uses a B-to-B connector to mate with the Compute Module 4, replacing the gold-finger design of earlier CM boards for a more stable mechanical connection.
Aligning the Compute Module 4 precisely on the B-to-B connector before pressing down evenly; misalignment can bend pins and prevent the board from booting.
The CSI and DSI flat-flex cables, the micro-SD card, any M.2 expansion card, and the fan header are the parts most likely to require replacement after extended use.
