Scale and Subject

This 1/64 scale diecast model replicates the Ferrari 812 Competizione in a Matt Yellow Tailor Made finish with matching yellow interior. It is produced by BBR Models as an officially licensed collectible aimed at adult hobbyists and display enthusiasts. The model arrives brand new in its original unopened packaging.

Materials and Operation

The body is constructed from die-cast metal supplemented by plastic components and features real rubber tyres. As a static display piece it generates no heat, draws no power and produces no noise during normal use. The sealed construction means there are no moving parts to maintain or lubricate.

Display Constraints

The model measures approximately 2.75 inches in length and is presented inside a plastic showcase that protects the detailed exterior. It does not feature any opening doors, bonnet or boot, so the interior cannot be accessed. The fixed showcase suits shelf display but prevents handling of the car itself.

Questions about this item

How do I display the 1/64 scale Ferrari 812 Competizione without damaging the Matt Yellow finish?

Place the diecast model directly into the included plastic showcase; the case protects the painted body and yellow interior from dust and handling marks.

What part of this model is most likely to degrade over time?

The real rubber tyres can harden or crack after years on display; keep the showcase away from direct sunlight and extreme heat to slow ageing.

Will the sealed body trap heat if I leave the showcase under a lamp?

The model has no openings and is made of die-cast metal with plastic parts, so it cannot dissipate heat; avoid prolonged exposure to strong light sources.
