Panoramic full-tower showcase

The be quiet! LIGHT BASE 900 DX BGW69 is a black ATX full-tower case built for enthusiasts who want every component on display. Two tempered-glass panels wrap the front and side, while a three-metre ARGB strip runs the full height of the chassis. Motherboard support covers ATX, E-ATX, XL-ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX, plus backside-connector designs.

Sustained-load airflow capacity

Removable top and bottom brackets let builders mount up to two 420 mm radiators simultaneously, and the side panel accepts three 140 mm fans for direct GPU cooling. Eight expansion slots and a 495 mm GPU clearance accommodate the longest cards, while the integrated VGA holder prevents sag during extended sessions. Two combined ARGB and fan hubs provide twelve connectors for coordinated speed curves.

Thermals noise and power draw

The open-front mesh and optional side intake create a straight path for cool air across the CPU and graphics card, keeping internal temperatures steady under load. With no fans pre-installed, acoustic output depends entirely on the builder's choice of 120 mm or 140 mm units. A 225 mm power-supply limit at the rear keeps cable routing tidy and preserves bottom-radiator space.

Questions about this item

How loud does the LIGHT BASE 900 DX run with three 140 mm fans at full speed?

The case ships without any pre-installed fans, so acoustic output depends entirely on the 120 mm or 140 mm models you choose and the curves you set in the two included hubs.

Which motherboard form factors fit the BGW69 without extra parts?

ATX, E-ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX and XL-ATX boards mount directly; the tray also supports newer backside-connector designs.

Will a 495 mm graphics card clear the front radiator bracket when a 420 mm unit is fitted?

Yes, the removable top and bottom brackets let you install the radiator outside the chassis first, preserving the full 495 mm GPU clearance.
