The Pure Rock Pro 3 is a dual-tower CPU air cooler designed for mainstream and high-end desktop processors. It mounts on Intel LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1200, 1700 and 1851 sockets as well as AMD AM4 and AM5 platforms. Two 120mm Pure Wings 3 PWM fans with rifle bearings push air through the nickel-plated fin stack.

250W TDP headroom and limits

Rated for 250W TDP, the cooler handles modern flagship CPUs at stock settings and moderate overclocks. Six 6mm nickel-plated heat pipes transfer heat from the nickel-plated base to the aluminum fins. Under sustained heavy loads the 2000 RPM fan limit and 59.6 CFM airflow define the thermal ceiling before throttling occurs.

PWM control and acoustic ceiling

The 4-pin PWM connector allows motherboard fan curves from idle to 2000 RPM. Maximum noise reaches 34.8 dBA at full speed with 2.41mmH2O static pressure. The 155mm overall height fits most mid-tower cases, while the offset layout clears tall memory modules and VRM heatsinks.
