What the SX-991 headset is

The Beartwo SX-991 is a lightweight in-ear neckband headset weighing 10 grams. It uses Bluetooth 4.1 for wireless audio and calls with passive noise cancellation. The foldable frame and retractable earbuds make it easy to carry in the supplied case.

What to check before ordering

Your source device must support Bluetooth 4.1 or earlier for pairing. The headset charges via USB and needs 3.5 hours for a full charge. Verify you are comfortable with an around-the-neck fit and single-ear coupling before purchase.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Suits listeners wanting up to 18 hours of wireless play time and a compact design for sport or office use. Not for buyers who need active noise cancellation, longer range than 10 meters, or a true wireless form factor without a neckband.

Questions about this item

Does the SX-991 ship with a carry case and what else must I buy?

The package includes the neckband headphones, a USB charging cable, ear tips and a hard carry case. No extra accessories are required for normal use.

Which battery claim should I rely on — 16 hours or 18 hours?

The product lists both 16 hours continuous music time and 18 hours operating time; expect up to 18 hours of typical playback on a full charge.

What does the 10 metre Bluetooth 4.1 range mean indoors?

In open space the connection holds to 10 metres; walls and interference will reduce the practical range, so keep the phone nearby for stable streaming.
