Classic Chiming Wall Clock

The Bedford Clock Collection BED-1611 is a classic analog wall clock standing 31 inches high. It features a 6-inch diameter dial with Roman numerals and a decorative metal face behind glass. A pendulum adds 6 inches of visual length. The movement runs on two AA batteries while a separate pair powers the chime mechanism. Batteries are not supplied.

Suited to traditional interiors

This clock fits rooms where a decorative chiming piece with carved accents and harmonic tones is wanted. Adjustable volume and a night shut-off button allow quiet hours. Buyers who need a silent sweep movement, a modern minimalist design, or a radio-controlled time signal should look at other models.

Four selectable chime melodies

The chime module plays Westminster only, Westminster with strike, strike alone, or To Alice on the hour. A single push button activates the night-time volume shut-off. This choice of melodies and the simple shut-off control are the main functional differences from basic striking clocks.

Questions about this item

Will the 31" height and 15 lbs weight fit the wall bracket I already use for lighter clocks?

The clock measures 31 inches high and weighs 15 lbs, so verify your existing bracket is rated for at least that weight and has enough vertical clearance.

How can I confirm the chime selections and volume control are functioning correctly after I hang it?

Insert the four AA batteries, choose a chime such as Westminster only or Westminster music and strike, set the volume, then listen for the harmonic chimes on the hour and use the push-button night shut-off to test the mute function.

Which batteries come in the box and what else must I buy before it runs?

The box includes the clock with decorative carved accents, metal dial, decorative glass and a 6-inch pendulum; you must purchase four AA batteries — two for the clock movement and two for the chimes — separately.
