Behringer X AIR XR12 12-input digital audio mixer

Compact Rackmount Mixer

The Behringer X AIR XR12 is a 12-input digital mixer built for live sound, studio recording and installed systems. Its stage-box format fits a standard rack while delivering professional mixing capabilities. Four Midas-designed preamps and eight line inputs handle bands, houses of worship and small venues. Wireless control from tablets, phones or computers suits engineers who need to move around the room.

Integrated Tri-Mode WiFi

Built-in tri-mode WiFi creates a direct wireless link to iOS, Android and computer devices without extra networking hardware. The rackmount chassis keeps cabling tidy in fixed installs or portable rigs. Physical XLR and TRS connectors on the front panel give quick access for microphones and line sources during setup. Dugan-style auto-mixing balances microphone gain automatically when several people speak at once.

40-Bit Floating-Point DSP

A 40-bit floating-point engine provides high headroom and near-zero latency processing for EQ, dynamics and effects. The 12-input count limits simultaneous mic channels to four, so larger ensembles need external preamps or a bigger console. Wireless range depends on venue construction and device antennas, which may restrict control positions in some spaces. The 7.24 kg weight requires a sturdy rack shelf or case for transport.
