Exact-fit replacement for Elite Dragonfly G1 and G2

This lithium-ion pack is built to replace the original EP04XL battery in HP Elite Dragonfly G1 2019 Series and Elite Dragonfly G2 2020 Series laptops. It delivers 7.7V and 56.2Wh from a black cell assembly that matches the OEM part numbers listed by the manufacturer.

Straightforward internal swap with common pitfalls

Installation requires opening the chassis and disconnecting the old pack, so a small Phillips screwdriver and a plastic pry tool are usually enough. The most frequent issue is forgetting to detach the connector before lifting the battery, which can strain the ribbon cable; another is not reseating the replacement firmly enough to click the lock into place.

Verify the part number on your current unit before

Check the label on the existing battery for one of the listed part numbers such as EP04XL, HSTNN-DB9J, HSTNN-IB8Y, L52448-1C1, L52448-241 or L52581-005 to confirm compatibility. This pack is not suitable for Dragonfly models outside the G1 and G2 series or for any other laptop line.
