Replacement battery for Darter Pro 2021

This 73Wh lithium-ion unit replaces the original L140BAT-4 pack in System76 Darter Pro 2021 series laptops. It also fits Clevo L140CU, L141CU, L140MU and L141MU chassis as well as Schenker VIA 14 models. The black cell carries a 7.7V nominal voltage and a 9350mAh rating. It arrives new and ready to install.

Steady discharge for daily workloads

The 73Wh capacity is measured under continuous load rather than a short burst, so runtime reflects real-world browsing, coding or video playback. Lithium-ion chemistry maintains a stable 7.7V output through most of the cycle, avoiding sudden voltage sag that can trigger early shutdowns. A 12-month warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship.

Direct-fit design with listed part numbers

The pack matches the mechanical footprint of part numbers 6-87-L140S-32B01, 6-87-L140S-72B00 and 2ICP5/50/112-2, so no adapter brackets or cable mods are required. Connectors align with the motherboard header on supported Clevo, Schenker, Wooking and Thunderobot models. Compatibility is non-exhaustive; verify your original part number before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the 7.7V 73Wh lithium-ion cell run hot or draw extra power during all-day use?

The battery is a standard 7.7V 73Wh lithium-ion pack; it does not generate additional heat or power draw beyond normal laptop operation.

What must I already own for this L140BAT-4 pack to work in my machine?

You need a compatible laptop such as the System76 Darter Pro 2021, Clevo L140CU, L141CU, L140MU or L141MU, or one of the other listed models that uses the 2ICP5/50/112-2 part number.

Will this 73Wh replacement behave the same as the original 6-87-L140S-72B01 battery in an older Clevo L140MU?

Yes, it matches the 7.7V 73Wh specification and replaces part numbers 6-87-L140S-72B01, 6-87-L140S-72B00 and 6-87-L140S-32B01, so it functions identically in those models.
