Universal RG-6 Coaxial Compression Connectors

These PPC EX6XL-PLPLUS connectors provide a universal compression fit for RG-6 coaxial cable, covering standard, tri-shield and quad-shield types. The patented co-polymer body ensures reliable indoor and outdoor installations. A bag contains 50 pieces for professional or high-volume use.

Practical limits of the compression interface

The connector achieves true universality across cable braids from 60% through quad shield, eliminating the need to match specific connector types to each cable variant. Its moisture-tight patented design maintains ground continuity even when connections loosen over time. This reduces service calls caused by poor connections or cable mismatch.

Single specification that decides fit

Universal compatibility with RG-6 coaxial cable across standard, tri-shield and quad-shield constructions is the deciding factor. If the installation uses RG-6 drop cable within that braid range, this connector will fit; other cable types or shield percentages fall outside its designed range.

Questions about this item

Should I buy the single 50-piece bag or multiple bags for my installation?

Each bag contains 50 compression connectors, so one bag covers 50 cable ends. Order the number of bags that matches the total RG-6 drops you plan to terminate.

How does the universal design perform once the connector is compressed onto the cable?

The patented co-polymer body compresses uniformly across 60% through quad-shield plenum RG-6, maintaining ground continuity and a moisture-tight seal even if the connector is slightly loose after installation.

What cable standard does the F-type interface support and what does it limit?

The F-type interface fits standard, tri-shield and quad-shield RG-6 coaxial cable, capping use to those cable types and preventing mismatches with other coax sizes.
