Built for pet owners

This stainless-steel braided USB-C cable resists chewing from cats, dogs and rabbits. The smooth, odourless metal exterior discourages pets from damaging the cord. Rated for over 10,000 bends, it withstands daily dragging and sharp teeth. It is a durable replacement for standard cables that fray quickly.

Sustained 240W delivery

The cable supports Power Delivery 3.1 at up to 240W, maintaining full charging speed for laptops, tablets and phones during extended sessions. Unlike cables limited to 60W or 100W, it does not throttle under continuous load. Data transfers run at 20Gbps and 4K video at 60Hz remains stable over the full 13ft length.

Cool, quiet operation

The metal braid acts as a heat spreader, keeping the cable body cool during high-wattage charging. No active cooling or electronics mean completely silent use. Power draw matches the connected device up to 5A, with no extra overhead from the cable itself.

Questions about this item

Does the 240W rating mean the cable runs hot during all-day laptop charging?

The cable supports up to 240W Power Delivery 3.1, but the listed maximum power output is 40W, so sustained high-wattage loads will depend on the charger and device negotiated.

What ports must my devices have to use this 13ft USB-C to USB-C cable?

Both ends are USB Type-C male connectors, so each device needs a USB-C port that accepts a male plug for charging, data or video.

Will the 20Gbps data rate work with my older 5Gbps USB 3.0 laptop ports?

The cable is rated for 20Gbps data sync and will fall back to the highest speed both ports support, so it functions with older 5Gbps ports at their native rate.
