Built for Pet Owners

This Belkin USB-C to USB-C cable uses a stainless-steel braided jacket that resists chewing from cats and dogs. The metal braid also prevents fraying, crushing and everyday tangles. It is aimed at households where standard cords get damaged by pets.

60 W Power Delivery

The cable supports Power Delivery up to 60 W (20 V at 3 A) when paired with a compatible charger. It also carries data at 480 Mbps for file transfers. Output voltage is 5 V during standard charging.

6.6 ft Metal Braid

At 6.6 feet long, the cord reaches across a room while the rigid metal sleeve keeps it kink-free. Male-to-male USB-C connectors fit phones, tablets, laptops and consoles with USB-C ports. The orange finish adds visibility.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the USB-C plugs and what step do people often miss?

Plug either USB-C end into the device and the other into a PD charger; the step people miss is confirming the charger delivers 20 V at 3 A so the cable can actually provide 60 W.

What part of this cable will need replacement first?

The stainless-steel braid resists chewing and abrasion, so the USB-C connectors are the only parts that can wear out after thousands of insertions.

What limit appears first during a long charging session?

The cable is rated for 60 W (20 V × 3 A); if the charger or device negotiates a lower voltage the power drops below 60 W before the cable itself reaches any thermal limit.
