Dual USB-A Car Charger

The Belkin CCB001BTBK provides two USB-A ports for charging phones and accessories from a vehicle power socket. Each port delivers up to 12W for a combined maximum of 24W. It suits drivers who need to keep multiple devices powered during journeys.

Thermals and power draw

The charger draws power from the vehicle 12V socket and distributes up to 24W across both ports. Normal operation stays within standard automotive accessory limits without requiring extra cooling. No active fan or heatsink is present, so cabin noise is unaffected.

Deciding specification

The single figure that determines fit is the 24W total output split as 12W per port. Buyers whose devices need more than 12W on a single port or more than 24W combined should look for a higher-rated charger.

Questions about this item

How do I install the CCB001BTBK in my vehicle and what is the common mistake?

Insert the charger fully into the 12 V accessory socket until it clicks; the frequent error is leaving it loose, which cuts power on bumps.

What maintenance or replacement will the Belkin CCB001BTBK need over time?

No scheduled maintenance is required; if a USB-A port wears out or the internal fuse blows, replace the entire 24 W unit.

What limit appears first during sustained charging with both ports in use?

The 24 W total output cap is reached first, so each port drops below its 12 W rating when two devices draw power together.
