Ultra Compact Cordless Jiggler

This Belkin mouse jiggler is a cordless, battery-powered device that keeps a computer awake by mechanically moving the mouse. It is designed for remote workers, students and gamers who need their screen to stay active without installing software or plugging in a USB dongle. The unit operates silently and works with optical, wireless and wired mice.

Pull-Strip Activation And Dell Trackpad Limit

Setup requires only pulling the included activation strip to engage the supplied AA battery, after which the device begins moving the mouse automatically. No drivers, Bluetooth pairing or IT-visible USB connection are involved. The supplier notes that the mechanical movement does not work on Dell laptop trackpads, so users of those machines will not see the desired keep-awake effect.

Up To Two Years Battery Life

The included AA cell is rated to last up to two years of typical use, giving long headroom before a replacement is needed. The randomised motion pattern is intended to avoid detection by monitoring software while maintaining system activity. The device provides no storage, charging or data-transfer function; it solely prevents sleep and status-away states.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Belkin Cordless Mouse Jiggler is keeping my screen awake after I pull the activation strip?

The device simulates randomised physical mouse movement without software, so your operating system — whether Windows 10, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, Chrome OS, Windows NT, Unix, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 or Windows XP — will register continuous activity and never trigger sleep or lock screens.

What comes in the box and do I need to buy anything else to start using it?

The jiggler ships with the AA battery already installed and sealed by a pull-strip; no USB cable, receiver, software download or extra accessory is required — just remove the strip and place your mouse or trackpad on the unit.

Which version should I choose if I use both an optical wireless mouse and a laptop trackpad?

This single cordless model supports both optical wireless and wired mice as well as laptop trackpads, so one unit covers every input device listed in the compatibility specifications.
