What this cable is and who it suits

The Belkin Samsung Gala magnetic cable delivers up to 100W charging and 480MB/s data transfer through a USB-C to USB-C connection. Three removable tips cover USB-C, Micro USB and iProduct ports, while a pull-apart USB-A adapter adds further flexibility. The 3ft orange cable targets users who want one cable for laptops, phones, tablets and drones.

Check your device ports and power needs

Verify that your hardware accepts USB-C charging and can negotiate the required voltage profile; the cable supports 5V and 9V operation. Confirm the maximum power draw of each device does not exceed 100W. Ensure the magnetic tips fit securely in your ports before relying on the connection for daily use.

Build quality and daily handling

The cable head is rated 20 times more durable than standard designs and uses a 360-degree rotating right-angle joint to reduce strain. A 180-degree swivel on the magnetic tips protects ports from dust and accidental pulls. The Quad-Lock swivel belt clip keeps the cable tidy when not in use.

Questions about this item

Does the Belkin Samsung Gala cable include the USB-A adapter and the three magnetic tips, or must they be purchased separately?

The package supplies the 3 ft USB-C to USB-C cable, a pull-apart USB-A adapter and three removable magnetic connectors for USB-C, iProduct and Micro-USB, so no extra parts are required.

Which version should I choose if I need the highest charging power for a laptop?

The headline 100 W fast-charging rating is supported when the cable is used with a compatible 100 W power source; the cable itself is rated for up to 40 W output at 5 V and also supports 9 V.

What does the 480 MB/s figure mean for everyday use?

It provides USB 2.0 data transfer speeds, fast enough for music streaming, podcast playback and GPS navigation, but not for large file transfers or video editing.
