Portable short cable for power-bank users

This 0.5 ft USB-A to USB-C cable comes in a two-pack and is built for charging from power banks, car ports or laptop sockets where a long lead would tangle. The braided nylon jacket and reinforced aluminium ends survive over 20000 bends for daily carry. It delivers up to 3 A at 40 W and syncs data at 480 Mbps.

Check your port and power needs

Verify the source device has a standard USB-A receptacle and the target device uses USB-C; the cable is male-to-male and cannot plug into USB-C power outputs directly. Ensure the charger or power bank can supply the 3 A current the cable supports, otherwise charging will fall back to a lower rate. The built-in 56 k resistor protects both ends from overcurrent.

Steady 3 A output without throttle

Under continuous load the braided construction and 56 k resistor keep the 3 A flow stable, so a phone or tablet charges at the full negotiated rate for the whole session. The short 0.5 ft run minimises voltage drop compared with longer cables, maintaining consistent power delivery during extended use. Data sync remains at USB 2.0 480 Mbps throughout.

Questions about this item

Does the 2-pack include any adapters or power bricks, or just the two braided USB-A to USB-C cables?

The package contains two 6-inch braided cables with USB-A on one end and USB-C on the other. No wall charger, power bank, or additional adapters are included.

Both cables are the same 6-inch length and orange colour; is there a different length or colour option in this listing?

This listing only offers the 0.5 ft orange cables as a matched pair. Other lengths or colours would be a separate product.

The cable is rated for 3 A and 480 Mbps; will it actually deliver 3 A fast charging on a Samsung Galaxy S24 or iPhone 16?

Yes. The built-in 56 kΩ resistor and 3 A rating support fast charging on Galaxy S24, iPhone 16, Pixel and other USB-C devices, while data moves at USB 2.0 480 Mbps.
