Built for pet owners

This 13 ft USB-C to USB-C cable uses a metal-braided exterior that resists chewing, biting and pulling from cats or dogs. The aluminium spring cover at each connector end protects the internal wires from repeated bending and has been tested to 15,000 plus plug cycles. It delivers up to 40 W of power for phones, tablets and laptops that accept USB-C charging.

Thermals and power in daily use

Heat-dissipating materials in the housing prevent the cable from becoming warm during fast-charging sessions. Insulated construction avoids short circuits even when the cord is bent tightly around furniture. At 480 Mbps the data link moves a 1 GB file in roughly 18 seconds without generating noticeable heat.

What the metal braid and spring covers change

The rugged sheath stops pets from severing the conductors, removing the risk of electric shock to the animal and damage to the connected device. Tangle-resistant flexibility lets the 13 ft length coil neatly for storage in a bag or car. The reinforced connector springs keep the cable aligned during frequent plugging, maintaining reliable charging and sync performance over time.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 13 ft USB-C to USB-C cable without damaging the metal spring cover?

Align the USB-C connectors straight with the ports on your Pixel or MacBook and push firmly until seated; the metal spring cover protects the joint from bending, so avoid forcing the plug at an angle during the first connection.

What maintenance will the metal braided cable need over time?

Wipe the orange metal braid with a dry cloth to remove dust or pet hair; the chew-proof housing and 15,000+ bend rating mean no scheduled replacement is required under normal use.

What limit appears first when I run the cable at full 40 W output for long periods?

The 40 W maximum power rating is the first ceiling; sustained loads above 40 W are not supported, so the cable will throttle or stop charging before the 60 W PD capability or 480 Mbps data rate becomes a factor.
