Purpose-built charging cable

The Belkin Samsung Gala is a USB-C to USB-C cable designed solely for power delivery. It supports up to 60W charging at 20V and 3A for devices such as iPhone 15, 16, 17, Galaxy S23, S24, S25, MacBook Air and iPad Pro models. Data transfer, video output, CarPlay and VR functions are not supported. The 15ft length suits bedside, desk or in-car dashcam wiring where only charging is required.

Right-angle connector fit

The 90° L-shaped plug sits flush against the device port, removing sideways stress during gaming or bedside use. This design reduces bending at the connection point, which is a common cause of cable failure. The cable requires a compatible 15W to 60W USB-C wall adapter and is not compatible with 5W chargers. A Quad-Lock swivel belt clip is included for mounting convenience.

Power delivery characteristics

The cable uses 8 AWG wire gauge to handle up to 40W maximum power output with 5V output and 20V support voltage. It delivers stable power over the full 15ft run without active cooling or fans. No data circuitry means lower internal resistance for charging-only efficiency. Backward compatible with standard charging speeds when used with appropriate power adapters.

Questions about this item

Does the 15 ft length cause voltage drop that limits the 60 W charging speed?

The cable supports up to 20 V / 3 A for 60 W Power Delivery; a compatible 15 W to 60 W USB-C charger is required and 5 W adapters will not work.

How warm does the 8 AWG cable get during all-day charging at 60 W?

The 8 AWG conductors are rated for the 60 W load; the right-angle plug reduces bending stress that can increase resistance and heat over time.

What charger must I already own to use this cable at its rated speed?

You need a USB-C wall adapter that delivers 15 W, 30 W, 45 W or 60 W; 5 W chargers are not compatible with the cable's fast-charging capability.
