Direct replacement module

This BenQ 250UHP-LAMP-1 module ships as a complete lamp and housing assembly, ready for immediate installation in compatible BenQ projectors. It uses a 250W Philips UHP bulb rated for 2,000 hours of operation. The unit is new and built to ISO 9001 quality standards.

Replaces a spent original

It takes the place of a dimmed or failed factory lamp when image brightness drops below usable levels or the projector signals end of life. The jump is worth it when the existing module has reached its rated hours or shows colour shift and hotspots. Buyers who need a higher-wattage or longer-life alternative cannot use this module.

Rated output and headroom

The 250W UHP bulb delivers its specified lumen output for the rated 2,000 hours under normal operating conditions. It comfortably handles typical presentation and classroom duty cycles with standard eco-mode use. It runs out when the hour counter reaches the limit or when the bulb fails to strike, at which point a new module is required.

Questions about this item

Does the 250W BenQ 250UHP-LAMP-1 module arrive fully assembled in its housing?

Yes, the lamp ships as a complete module with the Philips UHP 250W bulb already seated in the housing, so no separate bulb handling is required.

What is the common installation mistake with the 250UHP-LAMP-1?

Many users forget to reset the projector’s lamp-hour counter after fitting the new 2,000-hour module, causing premature replacement warnings.

When should the 250UHP-LAMP-1 be replaced?

Plan replacement around the rated 2,000-hour lamp life or when brightness drops noticeably, whichever occurs first.
