Ready-to-install lamp module

The BenQ 5J.JDT05.001 is a complete 380 W replacement lamp assembly supplied with a new Osram P-VIP bulb already mounted in its housing. It is designed for projector owners who need a direct swap without handling a bare bulb. The module arrives new and ready to fit, restoring brightness to compatible BenQ projectors.

Replaces a spent original lamp

This unit takes the place of a factory lamp that has reached the end of its rated 3 000-hour life or has failed prematurely. The upgrade is worth it when image brightness has faded, the projector warns of lamp end-of-life, or the unit will not strike. Installing a fresh module returns the projector to its specified light output.

Rated for 3 000 hours of use

At the rated 3 000 hours the lamp delivers full brightness for typical presentation or home-cinema sessions before output declines. Heavy daily use will reach that limit sooner, while occasional use extends the calendar life. The lamp is built to ISO 9001 quality standards and backed by a 180-day warranty.

Questions about this item

Will the 5J.JDT05.001 lamp module fit directly into my BenQ projector without extra brackets?

The module ships as a fully assembled bulb and housing, so it fits the projector's existing lamp bay without additional brackets or adapters.

What is the installation step people often miss when replacing the 380W P-VIP lamp?

After inserting the module, the lamp-hour counter in the projector menu must be reset to zero; otherwise the projector will continue counting from the old lamp's hours.

When should I plan to replace the 5J.JDT05.001 lamp based on its rated life?

The lamp is rated for 3,000 hours of use; expect to replace it once the projector's hour counter approaches that figure.
