Designed for Golf Simulation

The BenQ AH700ST is a short-throw laser DLP projector built for golf simulation setups. It delivers 4000 ANSI lumens of brightness with a native Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080. The 0.69 to 0.83 throw ratio allows large images from a short distance. HDR10 and HLG content are supported for expanded dynamic range.

Home cinema buyers needing 4K native panels

This unit suits enthusiasts who want a bright, colour-accurate image for simulation or cinema in rooms with ambient light. The 95% Rec.709 coverage ensures realistic hues. Buyers who require native 4K resolution or a standard long-throw installation should look at other models.

Simple placement with auto alignment

The short-throw lens reduces the space needed behind the screen, and the Auto Screen Fit function aligns the image automatically. Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.0 ports and one USB-C input for modern sources. Ensure the mounting surface is stable, as laser DLP units are sensitive to vibration during operation.

Questions about this item

What type of screen or surface do I need to pair with the 0.69 to 0.83 short-throw ratio?

The 0.69 to 0.83 short-throw ratio lets you fill a large screen from a short distance, so you only need a flat projection surface or screen sized for your room; no special screen material is required.

Will my older 1080p source devices work with the two HDMI 2.0 inputs?

Yes, the two HDMI 2.0 inputs are fully backward compatible with older 1080p sources such as Blu-ray players, consoles or streaming sticks.

How can I confirm the 95% Rec.709 colour accuracy is active after setup?

Play HDR10 or HLG test patterns and verify the image matches the reference colours; the Auto Screen Fit function also aligns the geometry automatically for a correctly proportioned picture.
