130-inch 4K ultra-short-throw projector

The Samsung SP-LPU9DSAXXZA is a new triple-laser home-theatre projector that delivers a 130-inch class 4K image from just inches away from the wall. It produces 3000 to 3500 lumens of brightness and a native 3840 x 2160 resolution with Quantum HDR and 154 percent DCI-P3 colour volume. A 20000-hour light-source life and built-in smart features complete the package.

Ideal for wall-hugging cinema.

This ultra-short-throw design suits buyers who want a large fixed screen in a living room or media room without long-throw installation. It needs 4.4 inches from the wall for a 100-inch image and 9.4 inches for 130 inches. Buyers who need a projector they can move between rooms, mount on a ceiling, or place farther back than 2 metres should look at other form factors.

Triple-laser light source with 20000-hour rating

The three-laser engine is the single specification that determines whether this projector fits the buyer's expectations for colour performance, brightness stability and long-term maintenance. It drives the wide colour volume and high contrast without a replaceable lamp, so the 20000-hour operating life defines the ownership cycle.

Questions about this item

What is the first step when setting up the projector on a low cabinet?

Place the unit on a stable, level surface, measure 9.4 inches from the wall for a 130-inch screen, then run the automatic keystone and focus calibration before connecting sources.

When will the triple-laser light source need to be replaced?

The laser engine is rated for 20000 hours of operation; at typical daily use that equals many years before any light-source service is required.
