BenQ LU9800 replacement lamp

This genuine BenQ LU9800 replacement lamp restores 10000 ANSI lumens brightness for the LU9800 laser projector. It supports WUXGA 1920x1200 resolution and a 3000000:1 contrast ratio. The lamp unit weighs 59.0800 grams and is supplied new.

Compatibility and installation checks

Verify the projector model is exactly LU9800 before ordering. Confirm the optional lens fitted matches one of the supported throw ratios such as 0.38, 0.77-1.1, 1.1-1.3, 1.25-1.6, 1.54-1.93, 1.93-2.9, 2.22-3.67, 3.58-5.38 or 5.31-8.26. Ensure the zoom ratio matches the lens specification.

Sustained operation characteristics

The laser light source is rated for 20000 hours in normal mode and 38000 hours in ECO mode. Dimming mode extends the rating to 70000 hours. Brightness and colour stability are maintained across these extended periods without the rapid decay seen in traditional lamps.

Questions about this item

Does the replacement lamp ship with the LU9800 projector, lenses or any mounting hardware?

The item is a standalone DLP replacement lamp for the BenQ LU9800. The projector, optional lenses such as the LS1ST3A ultra short throw or LS1LT3 long zoom, and mounting hardware are sold separately.

Which lamp version matches the LU9800's 10000 ANSI lumens laser light source rated for 20000 hours normal and 38000 hours ECO?

This replacement lamp is the designated part for the BenQ LU9800, which uses a laser light source delivering 10000 ANSI lumens with a rated life of 20000 hours in normal mode and 38000 hours in ECO mode.

After installing this lamp, will the projector still achieve the 3000000:1 contrast ratio and WUXGA 1920x1200 resolution?

Yes. The LU9800 maintains its native WUXGA 1920x1200 resolution and 3000000:1 contrast ratio when this genuine replacement lamp is fitted, preserving the original image quality.
