OEM replacement lamp with a new 380 W Osram P-VIP bulb and housing, rated for 3,000 hours of use
This genuine OEM replacement lamp module uses a new Osram P-VIP 380W bulb inside a pre-assembled housing. It is designed for BenQ projectors that specify the MH8560 part number, identified as 5J.JDT05.001. The unit arrives ready for direct installation without separate bulb handling. Buyers who need a higher-wattage light source or a different lamp form factor cannot use this module.
The lamp restores original brightness when an existing MH8560 module reaches its 3,000-hour rated life or suffers premature dimming. Swapping the complete housing avoids alignment issues that can occur with bare-bulb changes. The upgrade is worth it when image luminance drops below usable levels or the projector signals a lamp replacement warning. Projectors requiring a different wattage or connector layout are not compatible with this part.
The P-VIP 380W bulb is rated for 3,000 hours of operation under standard conditions. Actual lifespan varies with power-cycle frequency, ventilation and ambient temperature. Output gradually declines over the rated period rather than stopping abruptly. The lamp operates only in projectors engineered for this specific 380W P-VIP specification; other wattages or lamp technologies will not function.

The module matches BenQ part 5J.JDT05.001 and is built as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly for direct installation.
Power off and unplug the projector, allow it to cool, remove the lamp cover, release the retaining screws, slide the old module out, insert the new MH8560 unit until it seats firmly, re-tighten the screws, replace the cover, then reset the lamp timer in the menu — skipping the timer reset is the common error.
The lamp is rated for 3000 hours of use; the projector will display a replacement warning and brightness will drop noticeably as that limit approaches.
