Questions about this item

Does the BenQ MH856UST lamp arrive as a complete module or must I buy a separate housing?

The unit ships as a fully assembled module containing the new Osram P-VIP 380W bulb already fitted inside its housing, so no extra housing purchase is required.

Which version should I pick — the OEM direct from the bulb maker, the BenQ-branded OEM, the alternative OEM, or the compatible?

All four versions use genuine OEM parts and meet ISO9001 checks; the OEM direct and BenQ OEM match the original maker, the alternative OEM uses a different bulb supplier, and the compatible is the lower-cost option.

What does the 3000-hour rating mean for daily classroom use?

At typical brightness the lamp is rated for 3000 hours; running eight hours every weekday gives roughly two school years before a replacement is needed.
