A complete 310W replacement module with a new Philips UHP bulb and housing, ready for easy installation in the SH915 projector and rated for 2,500 hours normal or 3,500 hours economy use
This complete 310 W lamp module fits the BenQ SH915 projector and arrives pre-assembled in its housing for straightforward installation. It uses a Philips UHP bulb and is manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standards with checks on beam performance, ignition, voltage and run-time. The unit is sold new and ready to use without additional parts.
In normal mode the lamp runs at 310 W and is rated for 2 500 hours of operation before replacement is needed. Switching to economy mode extends the rated life to 3 500 hours while reducing brightness and power consumption. The lamp produces the heat expected from a 310 W UHP source, so the projector’s existing cooling system handles thermal management.
This module replaces a depleted original lamp in the BenQ SH915 when brightness has fallen or the projector indicates end of life. It restores factory-spec output without changing the projector’s optical path or electronics. Buyers who need a different wattage, a bare bulb without housing, or compatibility with other projector models should look elsewhere.

Power off and unplug the projector, let it cool completely, remove the lamp cover, loosen the securing screws, slide out the old module, insert the new 310W assembly until it seats firmly, retighten the screws, replace the cover, then reset the lamp timer in the menu — skipping the timer reset is the common error.
The lamp itself is the only consumable; after 2,500 hours in normal mode or 3,500 hours in economy mode the brightness drops and the projector will prompt for a new lamp module 5J.J8805.001.
Rated lamp life is reached first — 2,500 hours at normal power or 3,500 hours at economy power — after which light output falls below usable levels and the module must be replaced.
