Replacement lamp for BenQ SH963

This replacement lamp module fits the BenQ SH963 projector and arrives as a complete assembly with a new Philips UHP 350W bulb inside its housing. It is intended for owners who need a direct swap when the original lamp reaches the end of its rated life.

350W UHP lamp with 2000-hour rating

The lamp operates at 350W and is rated for 2,000 hours of use under normal conditions. Brightness will gradually decline as the lamp ages, and the projector will eventually prompt for replacement once the rated hours are exceeded.

Pre-assembled module for straightforward

Because the bulb is already seated in its housing, installation only requires opening the projector's lamp door, removing the old module, and inserting the new one. The main risk is touching the bulb glass with bare fingers, which can create hot spots and shorten lamp life; handle only the housing and reset the lamp timer after fitting.

Questions about this item

Which BenQ SH963 Lamp 2 version should I pick?

Four versions are offered: the OEM lamp from the original bulb maker, the same OEM lamp sold by BenQ, an OEM-compatible lamp from another major bulb manufacturer, and an economical compatible lamp built with genuine OEM parts.

What does the 350 W rating mean once the lamp is running in my projector?

The lamp draws 350 watts of power, delivering the brightness and colour performance the projector was designed for at that wattage.

Does the UHP interface limit anything in practice?

The UHP lamp fits the SH963 housing directly and is rated for 2,000 hours of operation before replacement is needed.
