Benro C674TM tandem-leg video tripod

The Benro C674TM is a two-stage carbon fibre tripod built for professional video work. Its dual tandem leg design and 100mm bowl accept industry-standard video heads. Rated for a 132 lb load capacity, it supports heavy rigged cameras and large cinema setups. The three-section legs extend to a maximum height of 58 inches.

Thermals noise and power draw

This is a passive mechanical support with no motors, fans or electronic components. It produces no heat, draws no power and operates in complete silence. Performance is unaffected by temperature extremes, making it reliable for long outdoor shoots in any climate.

Adjustable spreader dual spikes oversized locks

The removable mid-level spreader lets you control the tripod footprint for stability on uneven ground. Rubber feet with dual spikes provide secure footing on both smooth indoor floors and soft outdoor terrain. Oversized leg locks are designed for quick, positive adjustment even while wearing gloves.

Questions about this item

How do I attach a video head to the 100mm bowl on the C674TM?

Seat the head's half-ball into the 100mm bowl, tighten the bowl clamp until the head no longer rocks, then level with the bubble before locking the pan axis.

What part of the C674TM will need attention after heavy field use?

The oversized leg locks and dual spike feet take the most abuse; clean grit from the lock threads and replace worn rubber pads to keep the 132 lb capacity reliable.

At what height does the C674TM become noticeably less stable?

Extending the three sections to the 58" maximum raises the centre of gravity; wind or a 132 lb rig will show flex first at full height, so drop a section when possible.
