Rack PDU for three-phase power

The Tripp Lite switched PDU delivers 17.3 kW at 240 V AC from a 415 V three-phase feed. It mounts vertically in a 0U footprint and provides 30 locking outlets for dense rack deployments. Network management is built in for remote outlet control and monitoring.

30 mixed IEC outlets

Six C19 and 24 C13 receptacles accept a wide range of server and network equipment cords. The 30 A IEC 60309 3P+N+E input plug connects to the three-phase source. Overload protection guards every connected device.

Passive cooling in a 70-inch chassis

The 70 inch by 2.2 inch by 2.5 inch aluminium housing dissipates heat without fans, so the unit adds no audible noise to the rack. Power draw is limited to the attached load up to the 17.3 kW rating. The 17.6 lb weight is supported by the included mounting brackets.

Questions about this item

What does the 17.3 kW power rating mean for actual rack equipment?

It represents the maximum three-phase load the unit can deliver at 415 V input and 240 V output, limited to 24 A per phase.

How does the IEC 60309 30 A 3P+N+E input connector constrain installation?

It requires a matching 30 A three-phase source with neutral and earth pins, capping total input current at 24 A per phase.

What physical space does the 70-inch vertical 0U chassis need in the rack?

The unit occupies the full 70-inch height, 2.2-inch width and 2.5-inch depth of a standard cabinet side channel.
