BesCable BESP0102 PoE Splitter Combiner Kit 2 Sets

SKU CH-KEH1-XNC3W

Combines two IP cameras onto one Ethernet cable up to 50 metres with waterproof RJ45 connectors

  • Product colorWhite
  • Run two IP cameras over one cable
  • Plug-and-play setup needs no configuration
  • Weatherproof RJ45 connectors rated for outdoor use
  • IEEE 802.3af compliant with 24 W power budget
  • Up to 50 m transmission over CAT5/5e/6

What the kit does

The BesCable BESP0102 kit combines two IP cameras onto a single Cat5, Cat5e or Cat6 cable using PoE combiner and splitter adapters. Each set includes two combiners, two splitters and six waterproof caps for outdoor-rated RJ45 connections.

Who it suits and who it does not

Installers expanding an existing surveillance system without pulling new cable runs will find the plug-and-play design convenient. The kit only supports 10/100 Mbps data rates, so networks requiring gigabit throughput should look at alternative solutions.

Capacity and headroom

Each channel delivers up to 24 W at 12 V DC over distances of roughly 50 metres while maintaining IEEE 802.3af compliance. Power budget and bandwidth headroom are exceeded when cameras demand more than 100 Mbps or when cable runs extend well beyond the rated distance.

Questions about this item

What PoE standard must my switch or injector support for the BesCable BESP0102 kit to work?

The kit complies with IEEE 802.3af, so any switch or injector that delivers power under that standard will operate the combiner and splitter correctly.

Can I keep my existing Cat 5e patch leads and still reach the 50 metre transmission distance quoted for this kit?

Yes. The kit specifies Cat 5, Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable, and the 50 metre distance applies to all three categories.

How do I verify the combiner and splitter are passing data at the rated speed after I connect the cameras?

Check the link LEDs on your PoE switch; a steady 100 Mbps indication confirms the 10/100 Mbps data path is active through both adapters.
