Bescor 10' D-Tap Power Extension

The Bescor 10' D-Tap Male to D-Tap Female Extension Cord extends the reach between a power source and D-Tap compatible devices. It suits photographers and videographers who need flexible cable routing for camera rigs or lighting equipment on location or in the studio. The robust construction resists wear from frequent on-site handling and movement.

For D-Tap device users needing extra length

This cord serves professionals who require a dependable power link across a ten-foot gap without signal or voltage concerns. It is not for users who need a different connector type, such as XLR or barrel jack, or those who require a shorter or longer cable run than the fixed length provides. Buyers without D-Tap ports on their gear cannot use this product.

Ten-foot fixed cable length

The single specification that determines fit is the ten-foot length between the male and female D-Tap ends. This fixed distance dictates whether the cord bridges your specific power source to your device position. Verify your setup requires exactly this reach before purchasing, as the length cannot be adjusted.

Questions about this item

Should I choose a longer or shorter D-Tap extension for my rig?

The Bescor extension is 10 feet long, giving you extra reach between a power source and D-Tap devices such as cameras or lights without excess cable to manage.

What does the 10-foot length mean when I’m on set?

Ten feet lets you position a battery or power supply away from the camera rig while keeping a secure D-Tap connection, reducing trip hazards and cable strain during shoots.

Does the D-Tap interface limit the power I can draw through this cord?

The cord uses standard D-Tap male and female connectors, so it passes whatever current your D-Tap power source and device are rated for without adding its own restriction.
