Bessey KLI3.004 Ratcheting Clamp

The Bessey KLI3.004 is a 4 in ratcheting clamp built for general purpose clamping tasks. It suits woodworkers, metalworkers and DIY users who need quick, one-handed pressure without a separate tightening tool.

Fits into a workshop workflow

The lever handle lets you apply force rapidly and frees the other hand for positioning workpieces. Its 3 in throat depth reaches past edges, while the alloy steel bar resists bending during heavy glue-ups or assembly steps.

Behaviour under sustained load

The glass filled nylon handle and pivoting jaw pads distribute the 260 lb clamping force evenly across the joint. The ratchet mechanism holds pressure without creep, so the clamp maintains grip during long cure times or welding cycles.

Questions about this item

How long can the 260 lb clamping force be maintained before the ratchet slips?

The ratchet mechanism holds the full 260 lb force indefinitely; it only releases when the lever is deliberately opened.

Does the glass-filled nylon handle get hot or vibrate during continuous clamping?

The handle material stays cool and transmits minimal vibration even when the clamp is left tightened all day.

What size workpiece fits inside the 4 in capacity and 3 in throat depth?

Any piece up to 4 in wide and 3 in deep from the bar face can be clamped.
