Bessey Tools Magnetic Welding Ground 800A 1.65

Magnetic welding ground clamp

The Bessey magnetic welding ground provides an 800A connection for heavy-duty welding tasks. Its magnetic base secures the clamp to ferrous workpieces without mechanical tightening. The unit weighs 1.65 and suits professional fabrication and repair environments.

Simple placement on clean steel

Installation requires positioning the magnet on a flat, debris-free ferrous surface for full contact. Paint, rust or uneven metal reduces holding force and electrical continuity. No tools are needed, but surface preparation is critical for reliable performance.

Rated for 800 amps continuous

The clamp handles high-current applications such as structural welding and thick-plate fabrication. It reaches its limit when the workpiece is non-magnetic, coated or too thin to complete the magnetic circuit. Users needing multiple ground points or non-ferrous compatibility must use alternative clamping methods.
