Cork map rail for display spaces

The Best-Rite 522D map rail uses a natural cork surface set in a silver aluminium frame. Each rail measures 48 inches wide by one inch high and the pack contains six pieces. It suits classrooms, offices or corridors where maps, charts or notices are changed frequently.

Replaces loose pins or damaged strips

The rail substitutes individual push-pins or worn cork strips that crumble over time. The jump is worth it when a whole run of wall space needs a continuous, reusable mounting line that holds paper cleanly without tearing corners.

Simple screw mounting with alignment care

Installation uses screws through the aluminium frame into the wall substrate. What usually goes wrong is uneven spacing between the six rails, leaving visible gaps or a stepped line; measuring and marking the full 48-inch run before drilling prevents this.

Questions about this item

How wide is the rail and what wall space does it need?

Each rail is 48 in wide, so allow at least that much clear horizontal space plus room for the mounting hardware.

What hardware is included for mounting the aluminum frame?

The rails ship with pre-drilled holes in the aluminum frame; use screws or anchors suited to your wall type and secure all six rails evenly.

How long does the natural cork surface last before it needs replacing?

The cork is a natural material that self-heals from pin holes, so under normal classroom or office use it stays functional for many years before the surface requires renewal.
