Professional speaker microphone set

This two-piece kit supplies a USB-connected speaker microphone with a 3.5mm headphone jack for private listening. It is designed for users of Baofeng UV-5R, BF-F8HP, UV-5R Pro, UV-K5 and AR-152 radios who need clear push-to-talk communication. The rugged build suits law enforcement, security staff and ham radio operators.

USB power and analogue audio limits

The unit draws power through its USB connector while audio passes over the 3.5mm jack, so a host device or power bank must supply a standard USB port. The fixed 3.5mm socket accepts only mono or stereo plugs wired for headset use; it cannot carry digital signals or charge external gear. The 360° stainless clip rotates fully but locks in set detents rather than sliding continuously.

Radio compatibility and mounting check

Verify that your radio model appears in the supported list, as the connector wiring is specific to Baofeng two-pin ports. Ensure you have a free USB-A socket on your charging source for the microphone’s power lead. Confirm the 360° clip width matches your belt, vest or pack strap before ordering.
