Two-Unit Gigabit Fiber Link

This pair of BFKK media converters bridges copper and fibre networks. Each unit accepts an SFP transceiver and provides a single RJ45 port for twisted-pair cabling. The set includes two AC/DC power supplies rated for 100V to 240V input and a user manual. They operate from 0°C to 60°C.

Suited For Long-Distance Copper Extension

Installers who need to run Ethernet beyond the 100-metre copper limit will benefit from the fibre uplink. The converters auto-negotiate at 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps and support MDI/MDIX crossover. Buyers who require Power over Ethernet or built-in transceivers should consider other options.

Open SFP Slot Determines Reach

Each converter features an open SFP slot compliant with 1.25Gbps 1310-nm wavelength transceivers. Link distance depends entirely on the chosen module and can reach up to 120km with single-mode fibre. Status LEDs show power, link activity and duplex mode for quick diagnostics.
