What This Power Strip Is For

This 16-outlet metal power strip supplies 1875 W at 125 V for workshops, garages and commercial benches. The widely spaced outlets accept bulky transformer plugs without blocking neighbours. Mounting brackets and screws let you fix the 45.8 inch aluminium-alloy housing to a wall or bench for permanent installation.

Installation And Common Issues

The unit ships with two brackets and four screws so you can secure it to studs or a solid surface in minutes. A 6 ft 14 AWG cord reaches nearby sockets without an extra extension lead. The integrated 2-in-1 rocker switch acts as both power control and 15 A circuit breaker; if the breaker trips, reset it before assuming the strip has failed.

The Spec That Decides Fit

Maximum continuous draw is 1875 W at 125 V, so the strip suits equipment that stays within that limit. The 16 outlets are rated for 15 A total, not per socket, so high-draw tools must be balanced across other circuits. Buyers needing more than 1875 W or a higher voltage rating should choose a different power distribution unit.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 2-in-1 rocker switch is protecting the strip after I plug it in?

The rocker switch combines power on/off with a 15 A circuit breaker; if the breaker trips the switch moves to the off position, showing protection is active.

Which mounting hardware is included and what must I supply myself?

The box contains the 16-outlet strip, two mounting brackets and four fixing screws; you only need a screwdriver and wall anchors suitable for your surface.

Should I choose the 15 ft cord version or a shorter one for a 45.8 inch strip?

This model comes with a fixed 15 ft heavy-duty 14 AWG cord; there is no shorter-cord variant listed for the 45.8 inch strip.
