17" LCD 8-Port VGA KVM Switch

This 1U rackmount console integrates a 17-inch LCD with an 8-port VGA KVM switch for server management. It fits standard 19-inch racks with adjustable rails for depths between 600 mm and 800 mm. The unit includes eight VGA KVM cables and supports DOS, Windows, Linux, Mac, and UNIX systems.

Expands to 64 servers via cascade

A two-level daisy-chain capability allows one console to control up to 64 computers. This upgrade is worthwhile when rack space is limited and multiple servers must be managed from a single keyboard, monitor, and mouse. Two-level password security restricts access to authorised operators only.

VGA interface limits resolution and distance

The analogue VGA connection constrains maximum video quality and cable reach compared with digital alternatives. Switching relies on OSD menu, hotkeys, or front-panel buttons, and extra VGA and USB ports allow an external monitor or peripherals. No digital video or remote-over-IP features are included.
