22 Inch Privacy Filter for 16:9 Screens

This privacy screen filter fits monitors and laptops with a 16:9 aspect ratio and an active display area measuring 19.2 inches wide by 10.8 inches high. It is designed for professionals who handle confidential data in shared or public environments. The filter narrows the viewing angle so only the person directly in front of the screen can read the content.

Reversible Glossy or Matte Finish with Dual Mounting

The filter is reversible, letting you choose between a glossy side and a matte side that cuts external glare. Two attachment methods are supplied: adhesive strips and slide-mount tabs, plus extra installation kits. This flexibility allows a secure fit on different bezel styles without permanent modification.

30 to 60 Degree Privacy Angle Controlled

The screen appears dark when viewed from roughly 30 to 60 degrees off-centre, while remaining clear straight on. You can shift the effective privacy angle toward 30 degrees by increasing monitor brightness or toward 60 degrees by lowering it. This single adjustment lets you balance readability and confidentiality for the lighting conditions.

Questions about this item

Will the adhesive strips or slide-mount tabs need replacing after repeated removal?

The package includes extra installation kits with both attachment strips and slide-mount tabs so you can replace them if the adhesive loses grip or the tabs wear out.

At what viewing angle does the privacy effect stop blocking the screen?

The filter darkens the display at angles between 30° and 60° from centre; beyond 60° the privacy effect ends and the screen becomes visible again.

Does the filter trap heat or change the monitor's temperature during all-day use?

The filter is a thin film that sits on the screen surface and does not generate heat or restrict the monitor's own cooling airflow.
