24-port PoE+ managed switch

The BFKK POE-SW2404G-MG-PLUS delivers 24 Gigabit PoE+ ports with two Gigabit Ethernet and two SFP uplink ports. It suits installers deploying IP cameras, access points or VoIP phones across a single managed platform. The unit operates as a 48V active PoE source and is not compatible with 24V passive PoE equipment.

PoE+ power budget and port limits

The switch provides a 250W maximum power budget with up to 30W available on each PoE+ port under the 802.3 af/at standard. When all 24 ports draw maximum power simultaneously the budget is exceeded, so actual deployment requires per-port planning. Uplink ports carry data only and do not supply PoE.

Capacity for typical edge deployments

Twenty-four powered ports handle most small-business camera or Wi-Fi rollouts with headroom for future additions. The dual SFP slots allow fibre uplinks to a core switch at 100 or 1000 Base-X speeds. Networks needing more than 250W total PoE or more than 24 powered devices must add a second switch.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 24-port model or a smaller switch for my deployment?

This switch provides 24 Gigabit PoE+ ports, each delivering up to 30W with a total 250W budget, plus two Ethernet and two SFP uplinks for aggregation.

What does the 250W power budget mean when every port is loaded?

The 250W limit supports up to 30W on all 24 ports simultaneously under the 802.3 af/at standard, using 48V active PoE.

How do the two SFP uplink ports perform compared with the copper uplinks?

Both SFP and Ethernet uplinks run at 100/1000 Base-X, giving identical Gigabit throughput for fibre or copper uplinks.
