BFKK 3K Lite 8CH H.265+ Home Safety System 4×1080P Dome Cameras No HDD

8-Channel 5MP Lite DVR Kit

This 8-channel H.265+ DVR kit includes four 1080P dome cameras and supports up to eight analogue HD-TVI, CVI or AHD cameras. It is aimed at homeowners or small businesses needing expandable local recording without subscription fees. AI human and vehicle detection reduces false alerts, while the free app enables live view and playback from smart devices. The system ships without a hard drive, so recording requires a separate purchase.

Upgrade from basic analogue kits

The H.265+ compression doubles the data-compression ratio compared with standard H.265, extending recording time on the same drive capacity. Buyers moving from older DVRs that only support lower-resolution analogue cameras gain 5MP lite encoding and AI detection. The jump is worth it when longer retention and fewer false motion alerts matter more than adding IP cameras. The four included dome units cover typical entry points, and four extra channels remain open for future expansion.

Limits of coaxial analogue recording

Each camera connects via coaxial cable to the DVR, so cable runs determine practical placement distance. Night vision reaches 80 ft in total darkness and 130 ft with ambient light using 24 IR LEDs. The DVR accepts a single 3.5-inch SATA drive from 500 GB to 2 TB; without it the system only streams live video. IP66-rated ABS housings withstand rain and dust, but the analogue interface caps resolution at 1080P per camera.
