What it is

The BFKK 45W USB-C laptop charger is a replacement AC adapter built for USB-C powered notebooks and Chromebooks. It targets owners of compatible HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, Samsung and Google devices who need a spare or travel unit.

Build fit

The adapter plugs directly into a USB-C port and negotiates 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V, 18 V and 20 V outputs from a 100–240 V mains supply. It frees a barrel-connector port on models that offer both charging styles and removes the need to carry a proprietary brick.

Thermals noise power

Rated at 45 W maximum output with a 1.3 A input draw at 50/60 Hz, the unit runs at typical wall-charger temperatures during normal charging. No active cooling is present so operation is silent, and the compact form factor adds minimal bulk to a kit bag.

Questions about this item

Will the 45 W output hold steady during long charging sessions?

The adapter delivers up to 45 W through its USB-C port with fixed voltage steps of 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V, 18 V and 20 V, so the limit is the 45 W rating itself.

How much heat or fan noise should I expect when it runs all day?

The unit has no fan and relies on passive cooling; it will warm up under continuous load but stays silent.

Do I need a specific USB-C cable for this charger to work?

Yes, a USB-C cable rated for at least 3 A at 20 V (60 W or 100 W marked cable) is required to carry the full 45 W output.
