Lockable Aluminium Bezel and Front I/O

The front bezel uses aluminium with a security keylock and integrated handles. A removable dust filter sits behind the door for easy maintenance. Two front-access USB 3.0 ports ship with a USB 2.0 adapter cable. The main chassis is built from zinc-coated steel for rigidity in rack environments.

Single 12 cm Fan with Optional 6 cm Units

Questions about this item

What USB standard do the front ports use and what throughput does that cap at?

The front panel provides two USB 3.0 ports with a USB 2.0 adapter, so the practical ceiling is the 3.0 bus speed.

Which motherboard form factors fit the 12 by 9.6 inch mounting area?

The tray accepts ATX and microATX boards that match the 12 by 9.6 inch footprint.

How is the chassis secured in a rack and which step is often missed?

Mount the unit with rack screws through the front flanges, then lock the front bezel keylock — skipping the keylock leaves the drives exposed.
