5-in-1 Dock for Steam Deck
This 5-in-1 docking station adds an HDMI 2.0 output, RJ45 Ethernet, a USB-C charging port and two USB-A 2.0 ports to Valve's handheld. It lets you play on an external monitor while keeping the device powered. The dock does not fit protective cases with kickstands or cases thicker than 2 mm.
4K@60Hz video with 100 Mbps Ethernet
The HDMI 2.0 port delivers 4K resolution at 60 Hz when used with a certified cable shorter than 15 feet and the correct desktop-mode settings. Wired networking runs at 100 Mbps rather than Gigabit speeds. The USB-C input accepts up to 100 W power delivery, matching the Steam Deck's 45 W maximum draw.
Two USB-A 2.0 ports for peripherals
The dual USB-A 2.0 connectors let you attach a keyboard, mouse or controller without a separate hub. No cable or charger block is included in the package. An HDMI-to-DisplayPort adapter will not work, and HDMI switches require cables no longer than 6.6 feet at each end.

Questions about this item
How do I install this dock and what is the common mistake?
Place the Steam Deck onto the USB-C connector; the step users miss is removing any protective case thicker than 2 mm, because the dock will not seat properly with a kickstand case attached.
What maintenance or replacement will this dock need later?
The dock itself has no moving parts or replaceable modules; only the external HDMI 2.0 cable and the 45 W or higher power adapter may need replacement if they fail.
What limit appears first during extended gaming sessions?
The Steam Deck's own 45 W power ceiling is reached before the dock's 100 W delivery, so sustained high-load gaming can throttle the handheld rather than the dock.
